Our Conservation Commitment
At Sharkapalooza, art meets action.
While we may not be scientists, we believe creative voices have the power to spark awareness, empathy, and change. That’s why a core part of our mission is to support the professionals doing the hands-on work of shark conservation in the field.

Each year, a percentage of Sharkapalooza’s net proceeds—from merchandise sales, vendor fees, sponsorships, and raffle tickets—is donated to a nonprofit organization actively involved in shark protection, marine research, and habitat preservation.

Our Conservation Partner
We are currently finalizing our 2026 conservation partner and will announce the official organization soon. Our goal is to build a relationship rooted in transparency, impact, and mutual support. Once selected, this partner will not only receive a donation from the event, but will be included in:
-
Our marketing and outreach materials
-
Educational activities and messaging at the event
-
Future collaborative storytelling efforts

Why It Matters
Sharks are vital to healthy ocean ecosystems—but they are disappearing fast due to overfishing, pollution, and fear. By supporting scientists and conservationists in the field, we ensure that awareness leads to action and art fuels real-world impact.

This isn’t just a festival. It’s a movement.
Stay tuned for our official partner announcement—and join us in bringing art and community together to help sharks.
