Our Four Pillars
The Heart of Sharkapalooza
At Sharkapalooza, everything we do is built on four core pillars: Art, Community, Education, and Conservation. These values guide our mission and shape every part of the event—from the artists we showcase to the causes we support. Together, they represent a powerful way to engage, inspire, and create real change for our oceans and the creatures that call them home.

ART
We believe art is a universal language—one that can break down fear, build empathy, and communicate the beauty and importance of sharks in a way data alone cannot. Sharkapalooza showcases artists whose work celebrates the ocean and gives sharks the spotlight they deserve.

COMMUNITY
Sharkapalooza is more than an event—it’s a movement built on connection. We bring together artists, families, educators, scientists, and ocean lovers to celebrate and support the shared goal of protecting what we love. Together, we create something bigger than ourselves.

EDUCATION
We aim to replace fear with fascination. Through interactive experiences, creative displays, and accessible learning moments, we help people—especially kids—understand sharks' critical role in marine ecosystems. Education is the first step toward stewardship.

CONSERVATION
Our creativity serves a cause. A portion of every event’s proceeds directly supports marine conservation fieldwork through our partnership with a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting sharks in the wild. By using art to raise funds and awareness, we turn passion into impact.
Our Conservation Model
Sharkapalooza donates a portion of net proceeds to a nonprofit dedicated to shark and marine conservation through field research and direct action.
We are committed to transparency and purpose. A percentage of all sales—merchandise, vendor fees, raffle tickets, and sponsorships—goes directly to support on-the-ground efforts that protect sharks and their habitats.
Our objective is simple:
Bring art and community together to help sharks.
